Your body is a temple, which is inhabited by a literal God, which is your SOUL. However, in order for you to be able to focus on the Mind and Spirit cultivation, you need a healthy body, which is a lot more difficult to achieve in this day and age, unless you go out into the wild and become a recluse, which is not a lifestyle most of us would accept, myself included.
That being said, this modern world has made it much more difficult to keep our bodies healthy. I don’t want to get into conspiracy theories, but it is a fact that most food is full of chemicals, sugars and are devoid of most minerals and vitamins that our bodies need in huge quantities just to maintain normal functioning.
It is a sad state of affairs, but it is what it is and we need to adjust our lifestyles and habits to be able to cope with this modern society that seems really bent on making us sick and stupid. I wonder why…

I know this is a tricky topic to breach, but there are alternatives to traditional allopathic medicine. I would look for Functional Doctors in your area. Functional Medicine is probably the future of (honest) Medicine.
